HvADHD

There is an imbalance in the diagnosis of ADHD between women and men, girls and boys. It takes far too long to get an overview and find concise information about the disorder - especially how it manifests itself in women. Research made it clear that the symptoms go undetected because people fundamentally do not understand what it means to have ADHD.

Therefore, I saw it as necessary to develop and visualize information that breaks with the stereotypical understanding of ADHD - i.a. by illustrating the brain’s executive functions and designing a comprehensible website, thus contribute to a better and quicker understanding. Furthermore the design has the diagnosed people (and the not yet diagnosed) in mind, who have problems with concentration, forgetfulness and forming an overview - those who actually need to find and understand the information the most.
